Faithful Steps Don’t Need an Audience

There is something both freeing and uncomfortable about working without an audience.

When Blossom Braid International began, there was no sense of being seen. No metrics to measure success. No affirmation beyond a quiet conviction that this was what God had asked me to do.

And I’m learning that this, too, is part of the gift.

It’s tempting to believe that faithfulness is proven by visibility — that if something is meant by God, it will immediately gather attention. But so much of the work God does begins unseen. In hidden places. Away from applause.

This season has asked me to examine my motives. Am I willing to obey God even if no one notices? Even if the work feels ordinary? Even if the fruit comes later than I’d like?

There is a refining that happens in private obedience. When there’s no audience, there’s no one to impress. Only God.

Blossom Braid International is being built quietly — through prayer, through listening, through choosing faithfulness over performance. And I’m beginning to see that this hiddenness is not a delay. It’s a kindness.

If you’re doing something that feels unseen right now, take heart. God does not overlook quiet faithfulness. He sees every step, every prayer, every yes that no one else applauds.

And that is more than enough.
