Finding God in the Ordinary
This month has reminded me that God often shows up in the ordinary moments — the quiet, behind-the-scenes work that doesn’t always feel exciting but is still meaningful.
With Blossom Braid International, there are days that feel mundane: writing blog posts, editing resources, answering emails, or planning projects that may not have immediate results. At first, it’s easy to question if these small, ordinary acts really matter.
But God has been patient with me, showing that faithfulness in the ordinary is where transformation begins — in me, in the work, and sometimes in the people it reaches. A kind message from a reader, a small ministry using one of our resources, or just completing a task with care — these are the moments God uses to remind me that the work He calls us to is never wasted.
I’m learning to slow down, to notice His presence in the simple acts of creativity, and to trust that obedience in the ordinary has eternal significance. It doesn’t need to be flashy or public; it just needs to be faithful.
If you feel your work is unnoticed or ordinary, take heart. God is present in every faithful step, and He delights in the hidden, quiet acts of obedience.
