Learning to Trust God in the Desert
This month has been hard. Life shifted in ways I wasn’t expecting — my partner lost his job, and suddenly the stability we had counted on felt uncertain.
It’s strange how quickly circumstances can change, even when you feel like you’re walking faithfully. One day you’re moving forward with projects, creativity flowing, life full of small victories. The next, you’re forced to pause, reassess, and rely on God in ways that feel completely new.
I’ve been learning what it means to trust God in the desert — in seasons where the outcome feels unclear, where provision feels stretched, and where the next step is not obvious. Faith doesn’t make the challenges disappear, but it gives you a foundation to stand on when everything else feels shaky.
Blossom Braid International continues to be a space of obedience and joy, even in this uncertainty. The work is still meaningful, even when life feels fragile. And God is reminding me — again — that His timing is perfect, His provision is sufficient, and His presence is constant.
If you’re in a season where life feels dry or uncertain, know this: the desert can be a place of growth. It can be a place where trust deepens, reliance strengthens, and faith becomes something you feel, not just believe.
Today, I’m choosing to hold on to God’s faithfulness, even when circumstances feel heavy
