Learning to Trust God With Timing

Waiting has never been my strength.

I like movement. Progress. The reassurance that something is working. But this season with Blossom Braid International is teaching me that God’s timing rarely aligns with my sense of urgency.

There are days when I want to push things forward — to make something happen simply so I can feel less uncertain. But again and again, God seems to be inviting me to slow down and trust that He is not behind.

What feels like delay may actually be alignment.

This work is growing at a pace that requires patience. And patience, I’m learning, is not passive. It’s active trust. It’s choosing not to rush ahead of God, even when the silence feels uncomfortable.

London is busy. Life moves quickly here. But in the middle of all that movement, God is asking me to build something steady rather than fast. Something rooted rather than reactive.

Blossom Braid International is unfolding in its own time. And perhaps the greater work God is doing right now is not in what I’m building — but in who I’m becoming.

If you’re frustrated by how slowly something seems to be moving, consider this: God’s timing is never about withholding good things. It’s about preparing us to carry them well.
