Moving to Wales – Trusting God with Change
This month brought big changes. We moved from London to Wales, hoping for a fresh start and a little more space to breathe. I was excited, nervous, and unsure all at once.
Moving is never simple, even when it feels like the right step. Boxes to unpack, schedules to adjust, routines disrupted. And underneath all of that, there was a deeper uncertainty: would this new place be the home we needed? Would it work for our lives and our calling?
God seemed quiet at first. I didn’t hear a clear “yes” or “no.” But I knew He had led us here, even if I didn’t yet understand why. So I chose to step forward with faith, trusting that His guidance would unfold in time.
The truth I’m learning is that change often comes with tension. Comfort leaves, and you’re forced to rely on God in ways that aren’t always easy. But it’s in that tension that faith grows.
Even as the move felt overwhelming at times, I reminded myself to look for God in the small moments: the first cup of tea in a new kitchen, the quiet sunrise over unfamiliar streets, the chance to slow down and listen.
This is a season of trusting God with the unknown. And even when I can’t see the full picture, I know that He is faithful — guiding, shaping, and providing exactly what we need, even in the middle of change.
