Returning to Faithful Steps
After a few weeks of forced rest, I’m finally able to return to writing. Recovering from my fall reminded me just how fragile our plans can be, and how much we rely on God’s timing and care — not just in our work, but in our everyday lives.
Picking up Blossom Braid International again feels both joyful and humbling. I’m grateful to be back at the work I’ve been called to, but I’m also reminded that faithfulness isn’t measured by uninterrupted progress. Sometimes it’s measured by returning after a pause — showing up again, even when life has slowed you down.
The past month has taught me to pay closer attention to the small steps: the simple acts of creativity, the emails answered with care, the resources polished before sharing. These are the moments where God is shaping the work and the worker alike.
If you’ve had to pause — whether by circumstance, health, or life’s interruptions — know that returning is a sacred act too. God honors your faithful steps, even when they come slowly or after a break.
I’m excited to continue, to create, and to trust God with each next step of this journey.
