When Life Forces a Pause
This month has been unexpectedly quiet on the blog — not by choice, but by circumstance. A few weeks ago, I had a fall down the stairs, and it left me physically slowed down and unable to write.
At first, I felt frustrated. So much I wanted to share. Projects I wanted to complete. Plans I wanted to move forward with. And suddenly, I couldn’t. My body demanded rest, and my voice had to wait.
But in this pause, God has been teaching me something important: sometimes faithfulness isn’t about constant activity. Sometimes it’s about patience, presence, and allowing Him to move even when we cannot.
Even in the stillness, there is work being done — quietly, unseen, faithfully. Blossom Braid International didn’t stop because I paused. The calling remains. And I am learning that obedience is not measured by speed or output, but by heart and trust.
If you’re in a season where life forces a pause — whether through health, circumstances, or uncertainty — remember that God is still at work. And sometimes, the pause itself is part of the shaping, the preparation, and the growth.
I’m grateful for this time of rest, and I trust that when I can write again, the words will come with renewed perspective and gratitude.
